A spacious, stylishly furnished and decorated house on the unspoilt island of Mfangano. The beautiful, well-established gardens run down to the lake, about 80 metres from the main house. We provide bespoke services with executive facilities.
We can comfortably sleep 16 guests.
The main house offers four bedrooms. One kingsize bedroom with en suite bathtub, shower & toilet; one twin bedroom with two double beds and en suite bathtub, shower & toilet; one twin room with two double beds, with toilet, shower & sink just outside the bedroom; one double room with en suite toilet & hand-basin, with shower just outside the bedroom.
The outside block offers three further guest rooms, two double and one twin, each with ensuite toilet, shower & hand basin.
Above the outside shower block is a double bedroom which gives the feeling of living in the trees. This is accessed by a spiral staircase. The room mainly comprises floor-to-ceiling sliding doors/windows which provide a fabulous breeze & breathtaking views of the lake on one side and a natural forest on the other.
This room also doubles up as the massage room.
Breakfast is usually served on the verandah to enjoy the fresh air and the lake view.
Lunch and dinner can be served in the main house at the long table which seats 18; on the verandah; at tables set up on the lawn; or at the outdoor pentagon gazebo or traditional local boat at the bottom of the garden.
There is a BBQ area near the kitchen block. There is also a theatre kitchen in the main house which is at the disposal of our guests.
